Flashback Friday - The Landmark Hotel London

Who doesn't love tea time?!

Thanks to my mum, I have appreciated every cup of tea. While we were in London, England in the summer of 2012, as a family we went to the Landmark Hotel London on Marylebone Road and had a delightful afternoon in their indoor terrace where they served tea. The sandwiches were to die for - cucumber, salmon and cream cheese, egg salad - it was all so scrumptious! Although we had been many a time before, it had been a while since we went back, but it was fantastic.

In the Winter Garden, sweets were served as well as their infamous scones with devonshire cream and strawberry jam. The scones were so light and fluffy, they would crumble the second you'd try to cut them into halves.

The teas were lovely as you could pick from the classics like that of English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Orange Pekoe, and more. They also had their own blend of tea which was a very aromatic experience. (And for you men out there who I know would prefer an unsweetened iced tea, it's totally doable).

Although the hotel might be prestigious, just don't walk in wearing flip flops and shorts. Otherwise, anyone can enjoy the taste of what the Landmark London has to offer. Be sure to make reservations well in advanced!
